I’ve spent my career in high-pressure roles where mistakes have real consequences. I’ve worked as a firefighter/paramedic and HazMat technician, supported leadership as a health and safety officer, supervised safety in industrial and utility environments, and taught future first responders as an adjunct instructor. My work has always centered on protecting people, improving systems, and staying steady when things are hard.
I’m also a dad, and I know firsthand how difficult it is to carry heavy responsibility at work and still show up well at home. It’s not easy to switch off the job, be present with your kids, and stay connected to your partner when you’re mentally and physically worn down. I’ve had to face those gaps in my own life and make changes, slowly and honestly.
Through my Operational Dad coaching, I work with fathers and high-responsibility men who want to do better by their families without walking away from their careers. I help them create simple structures, clearer priorities, and more honest conversations at home and at work. My approach is straightforward and practical: look at what’s really happening, decide what matters most, and build habits that support that-one step at a time.
